Creating Zentangle-inspired art is a rewarding, relaxing and mindful pastime – the incorporation of watercolor washes adds a whole new dimension to the enjoyable experience!
The sketchbook is 8.25” x 6” (20.96cm x 15.24cm) and the pages are printed single-sided. There are 44 3-Inch (7.62 cm) square tangle tiles tinted with watercolor washes in a variety of shades and textures. The tiles are borderless, so you can decide how to finish the edges. As a bonus, three full-page tinted panels are also included for you to have fun with (they’d be perfect for craft projects like greetings cards).
There is a generous inner margin near the spine, so page removal is easy (preferably with a blade rather than scissors). The book has been designed with the spine is on the shortest side of the page so that it is best used in portrait mode (like a steno pad with the spine at the top) where it is comfortable for both left and right-handed artists. Tips and ideas are included in the introduction.
Every tinted tangle tile is different! Let your design take inspiration from the shapes and textures found in the paint on the tiles – just go with the flow! Creating Zentangle-inspired art is a very enjoyable, relaxing and mindful pastime, and the incorporation of watercolor washes onto the experience adds a whole new dimension!
