Creating Zentangle-inspired art is a rewarding, mindful and relaxing pastime – why restrict yourself to drawing in square Tangle Tiles when you can add variety to your art by using circular Doodle Disks as well?
The sketchbook is 8.25” x 6” (20.96cm x 15.24cm) and contains 26 3-inch (7.62) blank square Tangle Tiles and 26 Doodle Disk circles with black borders. The book is printed single-sided with 2 shapes on each page in 4 different shape layouts. There is a generous inner margin near the spine, so page removal is easy (preferably with a blade rather than scissors). The book has been designed to have the spine on the shortest side of the page so that it can be best used in portrait mode (like a steno pad with the spine at the top) where it is comfortable for both left and right-handed artists.
Tips and ideas are included in the introduction. Additional blank pages have been included so you can create full-page art designs, or they can be used as backing sheets under your work and testing for ink bleed-through.
You can archive your finished designs in this sketchbook or remove completed tiles and disks for use in creative projects like scrapbooking, collages, greetings cards, gift tags, mobiles, and decoupages.
